"Yeah, but..."

CONTEXT ADDED BY ADMIN:
END OF CONTEXT

The band concerns me.  We lost five solid tubas and twelve clarinets from last year.  You can't blame the sax guy from coming out early to join the Redskins band at $25 per home game, but I don't see anyone with the chops to step up there.

I read on another board that there's an underground video of a recent practice showing the drum major hurling his shaft, John Shaft, toward the ground and missing.  And what's up with the white shoe polish shortage?  Did we think it would just magically appear because "We Are Auburn?"

The broken fingernail issues of the majorettes are limiting pre-season twirling time.  Some of the freshmen are still lost on where to go in the double-time pre-game entrance, and we're going to need them to toot early.  Sure, one kid on trombone was a 5 star by ABA, and some others were before de-committing from Bammer, but do we have enough?  Worst case scenario -- a La Tech band with almost everyone back comes in here and rams the Petticoat Junction theme down our spit valves, and our kids are not yet ready to return wind as strongly back at them.  I hate the ABA for limiting the number of pre-season practices.

And the cheerleaders....
