CONTEXT ADDED BY ADMIN: END OF CONTEXT why many people support gay marriage is that they want to take part in rebellion against an authority that they object to. Some -- not all -- is not far from an adolescent "you are not the boss of me" type of revolt that feels fun and free and usually gets out of hand and rolls downhill farther than they imagined. It is fun to poke your finger in the eye of the gate keeper but a little alarming when you need him to protect you from people who are worse than you imagined.
