"RE: Colin is partly correct"

CONTEXT ADDED BY ADMIN:
END OF CONTEXT

The greatest threat to the US is the "progressive" tax code. Everyone should pay, everyone needs to be at risk for government largesse. It is the ONLY way to check government spending and growth.

A very important point and an angle that too many people ignore. Paying taxes is not just about what's fair or what you can afford to give up . . . it's about being a stakeholder in how the money is used. If you risk (pay) nothing, all government spending is upside. That's a fundamental problem with progressive taxation.

I don't have a problem with income taxes being a little progressive, but when you have a huge bottom with no burden, you have major issues.

What you got back home, little sister, to play your fuzzy warbles on? I bet you got little save pitiful portable picnic players. Come with uncle and hear all proper. Hear angel trumpets and devil trombones. You are invited.
