is that Medicare is a dying program. It is currently operating in the red and is simply unsustainable in its current form. Medicare recipients already have a difficult time finding primary care providers because the pay is so bad, so cutting fees is likely to result in even more shortages of physician providers in the system. It looks like it may go insolvent by 2019.

Expanding Medicare is like upgrading someone on the Titanic from steerage to first class AFTER it hit the iceberg. You can call it a pleasure cruise all you want but it is only going to travel in one direction.
