and he is starting to reach Tebow-levels of hype. However, despite the fact that I did not vote for him, I do recognize the historical significance of what will take place tomorrow. I am pleased that our country has reached this point, and if I am not mistaken, before any of the so-called enlightened European countries that like to look down their noses at the boorish Americans. Despite my political differences with the new President, I will be happy tomorrow because of this. As far as Maya Angelou, I can't begrudge a black woman of her generation some bitterness, her perspective of history is likely very different from mine.
