especially their defensive coach Johnson. Reminds me of Cheif Newman who told us boys "Show me a man who will endure losing and I will show you a loser.
I think Penn State will take USC this year- perhaps because I am recollecting back to the "mistake" of 69.
But I do like Johnson- who has done a superb job coaching and recruiting- not only with the two all American Cornerbacks Wallace and Maybing- but he personally recruited their All American receiver Williams.]
Well with these outstanding cornerbacks and that incredible linebacker Navorro Bowman I think that Mrs. Nixon's alma mater USC is going to be in for a long day.
Not only that but Penn State actually has football uniforms complete with black ankle lenght socks and black shoes - none of this ballet tutus masquerading as football uniforms we see these days. Well I don't like that Nike Swoosh they now have- personally I like the screw on Spotbuilt cleats- the high top kind that were made for stomping your opponents face.
So I am going against my heart in a fashion - Mrs. Nixon is not happy about it- but I say to hell with it if a man can't stick to his guns he is not a man but a boy- and will be rooting down for Penn State in the family room with my son in law David- while Tricia and Mrs Nixon watch it on the old black and White Magnavox in the bedroom.
