The Athletic Department Administration at Auburn University once again, in the past 6 years, demonstrated leadership which has brought embarrassment to our fan base and countless insults from fans of other schools, not just the NCAA level of student athletics --- but also including high school supporters in my home state of Georgia. This high profile department at Auburn needs to be restructured at the AD desk and all high ranking administration that has been responsible for the mess that extends beyond just the various athletic fields, pools, courts, diamonds, and links...but into the seats of the stands and pile of AU logo gear continuing to be unsold in stores....the low enthusiasm for AU sports will lead to fewer students wanting to attend Auburn University. Wearing Auburn gear now requires having the emotional strength to put up with endless negative comments from others. AU Family must not be important in the Athletic Department to ignore the will of the fans to keep CTT and then select a coach who had not a blip of support before or after being hired. The reasons presented for the hire were bloated hype and an unacceptable rationalization by a department that found out to late that the lack of support was much more than expected. This situation suggests a total lack of communication with the real "Auburn Family"...The Fans of Auburn University!
