Escambia Count DA Tommy Chapman said Dennis and Donna Smith died at the home of Michael Williams Saturday night. Williams was arrested and charged with two counts of murder.
Dennis Smith, an LSU fan, called Williams, a fan of the Crimson Tide, after the game Saturday evening. The men got into a fight. The Smiths took a pistol to a shotgun fight, and lost. Williams shot both Dennis and Donna Smith.
Alcohol and dumbassery were factors.
