"Hear ye! Hear ye! Low be the republican party . . . "
|
CONTEXT ADDED BY ADMIN: END OF CONTEXT
The republican party is at a cross-roads. You lost Virginia and North Carolina. The reasons are obvious. Failure to stick to real conservative principles! Spending like drunken sailors. Invading pissant countries that are no threat to the USA. Putting your social agenda forward as your strongest argument to lead. Incompetence and partisanship in government. Eroding Constitutional principles. You can sit back and wait for the dems to implode, which they will do . . . or you can take this moment to really reevalute where you are. Perhaps you don't like Ron Paul or the libertarians . . . but in this philosophy lies your path back to the center right of America. Real fiscal conservatism. Real "walking softly and carrying a big stick" meaning don't send our military into needless battles but always keep them in a position to defend us from anyone. Real belief in the 10th amendment and do not try to shove a Federal social ideology down our throats. Real competence in government once you get power and not cronyism and incompetence . . . limited government does not mean being brain dead (right Brownie?). And a belief in liberty above all else . . . including security.
This is a center right nation . . . and they are PISSED OFF at your performance. Get your #badword# together!

". . . the Constitution is not such instrument as it is has generally been assumed to be; but that by false interpretations, and naked usurpations, the government has been made in practice a very widely, and almost wholly, different thing from what the Constitution itself purports to authorize."
