riding a 20 game unbeaten streak with Dye's players . . . through our switch to an inept, ineffective, maddening offense that saw Fred Beasley (a NFL PRO BOWL FB) sitting on the bench while 150lb running backs ran into the teeth of SEC defenses . . . Tubs came along and brought the program back mainly with defense (which Terry let go into oblivion) . . . he has never had a "good" offensive plan . . . he has hired guns come in for a year or two and run whatever they are good at . . . we got lucky with Borges, Jason, Caddy, Ronnie, Obie, Arom, Taylor, etc. . . . now he has switched gears to the FOOKING spread, recruiting and all . . . I think it is a program killing decision. I hate to say it but we are about to relive the best days of this board and some of the worse days of the Auburn program.
