CONTEXT ADDED BY ADMIN: END OF CONTEXT
The Good
- Todd's passing was much improved in terms of decision making and accuracy.
- Coaches finally read WHAB and decided that the I works close to the goal line
- Defense helping the team with a TD of their own
- Receivers seem to do better on their routes and getting open. Even on that last 3rd and 25, if Todd could have hit him, Dunn was open and could have been close to a 1st down if not gotten the 1st.
- Increased use of Trott was nice
The Bad
- Punting was the worst I have seen in a very long time, and ultimately caused our demise, continuously giving LSU shorter fields to play with
- Our rushing Def is not as good as I was hoping for. That surprised me.
- Todd's lack of any kind of velocity on his passes. Can't remember when it was, but the 4th and 3 play where he threw it to Trott would have had a lot better chance of being complete if Todd could have had any zip on his pass. I think he will average 2 INTs per game b/c of this.
The Ugly
- The Coaching - blech! It was the worst I have seen in a while. When a bunch of retarted, philosophy chefs can clearly see what needs to be done 2 games ago, and the coaching is just now getting around to seeing that as well......well, it doesn't instill a lot of confidence in CTF and company.
