I was so worried about inside the 10 situations last December when we made the decision to do the spread deal.
But, when CTT and CTF kept constantly reassuring us in the winter, spring and summer that we would have special packages, e.g. the I-formation, for inside the 10 situations, I felt better. Great to see that implemented last night, so that Tate could run behind that fullback (forgot his name) and not have to run alone into a wall of MSU guys.
The play calling by CTF was outstanding....particularly those pass to the running back 4-yards in the backfield thing in the first half....I know there are some naysayers out there who say it looked a lot like the 2003 Georgia Tech game when we ran the Nallsminger offense, but they are wrong!
This Franksminger - err - spread offense is really racking up all those points theysaid it would.
If only the defense could have given us a little help.........
