Brandon Cox won more games than any Auburn QB. I saw him play terribly. I saw him play great. But mostly I saw him win . . . and we won games BECAUSE of Brandon. We lost fewer because of him. He took the hits and never wavered. No matter how bad he played I felt like with him running the show it was at least possible we could beat LSU, Florida, Bama, UGA. Now in a year when our defense appears to be as dominant as I have ever seen it . . . we have the spread and Todd. Not only do they not help the defense . . . they score points for the other team. Sorry, I just don't see Mr. limp armed, Mr. happy feet driving this team to beat Florida or LSU or Bama. Kodi gives us the best chance to win in this offense. The MSU DEs did NOT respect the QB and were crunching down all night long on our RBs . . . Kodi eliminates that or he Burns them for major yardage. That won't be enough to beat LSU or UGA . . . but it might be enough to beat some of the other teams on our schedule. I have little hope we can beat LSU and UGA anyway . . . I have not felt this way about an Auburn game since Tiny Tot was the coach. Even last year when things looked their worst . . . I felt like we had a chance to win.
