We had a place not too far from Kennebunkport for a time and then a place near Boothbay Harbor. It is unfortunate that Vacationland got overrun with the wrong kind of touristas, if you catch my drift. The Emmetts were bad enough, but now any garden variety cou rouge will go rubbernecking for a peak at the Bush. Compound, that is. It seems the siege continues.
We fled with the force of a Noreaster and took up summer lodging cross country in Tahoe. It was charming until the lawyers, doctors, and faux celebrities ruined it, so we have secured the quiet dignity of Del Mar. We sure enjoyed rubbing elbows with the right kind of folks at the Open weekend before last. What a great institution.
Speaking of institutions, we continue to be shocked and awed by the absolute collapse of intelligent discourse on this once impressive Board. Maybe one of you can unintentionally deliver a fatal virus that will put this joint out of its misery. Have any of you seen Booth? He may be the only legitimate CCC material around and even he only rates an honorary membership.
