We used to view this board as a kindred spirit of the CCC. Our hope was to entice a few of the reasonable Bama fans on here along with a few of the higher grade barners for a civilized discussion of SEC football and other topics of mutual interest at the CCC, where we have learned to keep the lesser lights on dim. This reminds us: Bear's Boy, your latest application is rejected. Please learn to write English before submitting your next. In the alternative, we suggest renewing your lease at TI.
But where were we? Oh, yes, the demise of this board. What happened to you people? This used to be a lively place regardless of the topic. Now the subject du jour is "Eleven year-old faux or no?" How tedious. Even worse is that dreadful, saccharin song about daddy's and daughters below. Dear Bryant, it makes Bobby Goldsboro's "Honey" seem cynical. If you folk become any more sensitive, you'll need to retire to the Virtual Swamp. Note to selves:we may want to buy Midol stock to offset our Colonial Bank losses.
Anyway, it looks as if our plans for recruitment from this board have to be suspended. Too bad, really. We were looking forward to hearing the excuses the weekend after Thanksgiving when things finally return to their rightful order.
