CONTEXT ADDED BY ADMIN: END OF CONTEXT the Founders knew this. We have the most complete and effective system to deal with this that has ever been devised. Any state that has the demographics of Florida will have a close election like that and is going to feel the bite . . . if Florida wishes to "fix" the problem of their electors being chosen then by all means let them do that. But it is certainly not an indictment of our National elections or even our process as many want to claim. I am with Zilla on "let's get the best system we can" and this episode is a learning experience to that end. But we do ourselves a disservice by not allow a perfectly good system to work and throwing sand in the gears with COURTS.
