Popularity has a short shelf-life and tends to be, in retrospect, subject to question (see U of Oklahoma football in '04). You want something of substance, then this is the place. I've no doubt that WHAB is at the top of the Sports Bookmark list for the folks who make the board what it is. The # of hits on a webpage doesn't validate it. I've been posting/reading (sometimes, much to my chagrin, wading thru the political mud-slinging) on this board since '96 (maybe even earlier, too far away in the rear-view). I've only registered around 2600 posts in that timeframe, but thats not a representative indicator of how much enjoyment I've derived from the 12+ years spent hanging around.
I don't waste my time on blogs other than reading some of the "news" material, which the majority of which is "old news" by the time its read....one can come here and scroll the subject lines and have an idea of what all the daily headlines have to offer, along with some colorful commentary.
