maybe i'm wrong, but i thought the whole reason the 'star' system was created was to eliminate constant, redundant, "must read" comments.
if other folks agree with you, that its star-worthy, then it will naturally get a star. otherwise you're just a kissass.
nothing against you or your constantly ailing animals, this is something thats been bothering me for a while.
