Dad's mom passed this morning. Her other two children are still living and they have children and grandchildren but I'm not sure how that counts in the world of bloodlines.
I'll wait, of course, for the official ruling from the District Supervisor of the International Roundtable on Establishment of Paternal Seniority, Southern United States Council, Eldest Bona Fides Forum but I feel safe in saying no, you are not the eldest if your father's mother, we call them grandmothers for the sake of simplicity, has living children other than your father, we call those aunts and uncles in the biz. I hope that cleared things up.
