We are OprahNation. Feelings and no reflection or analysis. We love style and no substance. Image. Beauty w/o brains. Emotion w/o thought. We do not read. Our attention span is tailored by MTV. If schools actually have standards and consequences for failing to do work the parents run down there and demand "fairness" (i.e. good grades for substandard work).
The one school here that is a magnet school and produces excellence is always a vote away from closing because of the screams of the professional oppressed who are concerned for the self esteem of their moron thug children.
