"Attended my first Auburn game 35 years ago today.."

Edited by Author at 11/18/2007 - 8:36 a.m.

1972 UGA game.....on Nov. 18th, my birthday.

My dad took me to my first Auburn game when I was 10 years old . It was one of the best presents I ever received,..one that's kept on giving for 35 years of being 'great to be an Auburn Tiger'. That day would seal the deal as The Auburn Spirit sunk in mighty deep while whipping those dawgs.

I didn't get to go the 17-16 bammer game, but I already that Smiley.

I did get to go to the Gator Bowl where the amazins put a whooping on Colorado.

Thanks Dad.....War Eagle and R.I.P.

Got 12? Neither do you....

"It marks the first national championship for Alabama, which has a rich bowl tradition dating back to the 1920's, but the Crimson Tide finished second in 1945 and has been in the top 10 the last two years."----------Montgomery Advertiser, 12/10/61
