"Back from Baton Rouge. Just got the blood & urine"

Edited by Author at 10/22/2007 - 2:36 a.m.

out of my clothes and hair.  My van was not torched...but my convertible was keyed!!!!  (the thing about the urine and blood was a lie.)

First things first...Joshua, you make the best stuffed grilled shrimp I've ever tasted.   Please stay single until Daughter #1 graduates from law school.  If marriage isn't in the cards, then I'm serously considering adopting you.

Now..on to the game.    I'm proud of Auburn.  They've come a long way in the past several weeks.  I have to admit that when  we lost to South Florida and Mississippi State, I thought Florida and LSU would wipe the floor with us.  But look what happened!  We beat Florida!!!  And last night, we made LSU fight until, literally, the last second of the game.  Did I already mention that I'm proud of Auburn?

Now, a word about LSU fans.  I was treated with respect.  Maybe it's because I'm a middle aged woman.  But I didn't witness one single person being treated with disrespect before, during or after the game. (The only person who called me tiger bait was being pulled in a red wagon by his father.)  Patriotvol (who was wearing an LSU shirt to support our LSU law student...who was wearing ORANGE AND BLUE and supporting Auburn with all of her little heart) and I enjoyed Baton Rouge.  If you ever have an opportunity to go...THEN GO!   Everyone should experience a game in Death Valley at last once in their lifetime.
