"This, too, shall pass..."

Edited by Author at 9/9/2007 - 10:17 a.m.

Even though we are, apparently, unable to (pass).

 My thoughts...

You cannot expect to win when you turn the ball over 5 times.  Now, 2 of those turnovers were excellent play by their DBs.  Nothing you can do there except tip your hat to a guy that will be playing on Sundays.  Three of those turnovers were errors.  Secure the ball when you run with it.  That's sort of a fundamental rule I think, but I never played sports.

Our line play needs to improve.  On paper, we had better talent on both lines, but didn't capitalize on it.

We need a warm up game to shake out these issues.  K-State and USF are not warm up games.

Hey, at least it's not Appy State.

The USF fans represented their team well.  How can you not like people who wear those viking horns out in public.  I'd drink with them.

USF has a solid team with a scrappy QB.

I had some nice muscadine wine while watching the game last night.  Good stuff.

And finally, if any of you people are home brewers/vintners, I recommend Alabrew in Roebuck.  Good people.  Good service.  Great prices.
