I have been a regular on Wayne's Auburn Board since the late 90's...... not because of the sports talk....there is actually more non-sports chatter on a variety of topics..... but because there are very good discussions on topics ranging from religion to politics to science...etc. Lot of very intelligent, biting humorists, and astute regs there...and not just Barners...lof of Tiders, some Ole Miss, LSU, UGA, Arkansas, etc.
Of course football chatter accelerates in the fall but its not the driving force like over here.
Why did I link the comments made about the UF board (the Virtual Swamp)to the Auburn board (Waynes Auburn Board)? Because the person who set up and administers the Barner board also helped establish the Florida board, and I thought he would be interested to see how one of his boards is viewed by another group of fans. Thats why.
I was a reg on the Barner board several years before I even knew TI existed. Does it make me less a Bama fan? I think not. I hate Auburn more than you can imagine and have for the past 30 something years.
Granted a lot of the reg Barners over there also hate us with a passion, but they are very knowledgeable people and I enjoy reading and participating in their threads.
Plus I bring Fair and Balance reporting from a Bama perspective..... some one has to counter act the Barner propaganda, dont they?
