"Washing away their own sins . . . "

Edited by Author at 4/12/2007 - 12:09 p.m.

50% drop out rate, high out of wedlock birthrates, high imprisonment rates, leading cause of death being killed by another black man . . . etc. etc.

The past is a crutch for these SELF-IMPOSED problems . . . yet the culture is not to fix the problem, it is glorified in the music . . .

forgive me if I don't find this argument compelling . . .

They are allowed to continually play this card, the past sins card, and use it as an excuse to do nothing about the current SELF-PROPAGATED sins . . . I know of no way to stick a thermometer up America's ass and determine what level of biggotry now exist.  I only know what I see.  Blacks control the town in which I work . . . do things get better or worse?  Who's fault is that?  Is white America keeping them down?  They control their own destiny as much as my poor cotton-picking, "white trash" family did 50 years ago . . . It is time to stop pointing at the rest of us as racist pigs while backslapping OJ and Al Sharpton.  The racism street has cars going in both directions today.

. . . truth is great and will prevail if left to herself, that she is the proper and sufficient antagonist to error, and has nothing to fear from the conflict, unless by human interposition disarmed of her natural weapons, free argument and debate . . . Thomas Jefferson
