but, he died. Since he left they've had a guy named Perkins who won a few, then Bill Curry, who lost more than he won. Along came Stallings, who won a National Championship, but wasn't good enough to keep. Then came Dubose, though folks don't like to remember that. He was followed by Dennis "hold the rope" Francione, who took the first train out of town. Then Price, but he doesn't count because he never actually signed a contract or coached a game (the A-Day game doesn't count). Shula was then hired to save the day, but after a 10-2 season, and never beating anyone substantial, he was fired. They are currently involved in a nationwide search for the next Mikecoach to be "less than impressive" in the shadow of "the Bear".
