"A GATOR'S TALE..."
|
|
This was my second trip to AU, but my first for all practical purposes.
I have to say, first, your fans were and are great. We hung out with them and had a great time all day and into the night following the game. We've swapped cell numbers and want to return the hospitality next year in Hogtown (Gainesville, if you do not know).
We'll cook leg of lamb on the grill for 3 hours and show you how it's done...
It was truly a game for the ages. Your team really played possessed in the second half! Everyone in the stadium saw it. If Gators did not make plays to win (which we did not), it was because we were forced OUT of our plays by your "D". None of that LSU "we are the better team crap..." we heard after last weekend's beat down. The TIGERS bowed up and got bad and it was the game all Gators figured it would be. TT did a very inspirational job in moving and motivating your men. By the way, we are FAST, but you guys seemed F*A*S*T*E*R!!!!
It's a shame we don't play every year like the old days but we hope to have a second chance at you in Atlanta, and, if not, in G'ville in 2007.
Thanks for a great road trip and the hopsitality. Good luck to Atlanta and thru, in case, we don't make it.
P.S. I like the "Fear the Thumb". EXCELLENT!!! We'll use it in 2 years for Half Azz U.
Great Board, Wayne...
Sincerely, SWAMP 1 Drummblake@aol.com GO GATOR!!!
