"Congratulations and great game guys"

(EDITED BY AUTHOR: 9/18/2006 - 12:21 p.m.)

Great, heroic even, levels of play for both teams in a hard fought game. As an LSU blog put it yesterday, whining over calls is about as fagtastic as it gets. The difference maker was our running game, Bliss and Muschamp. That effing punter effing killed us. I still love John Vaugn, however. So buy both of them a dinner this week. Use Reggie Bush's people to make sure the NCAA is not aware of it though. Moving on, LSU was going to make AU throw the ball and AU was going to make LSU run the ball. AU mustered one good drive. LSU couldn't get the offense in gear completely and never had a similar hugely crucial and productive drive. I credit Muschamp for this. He pretty much knew what Fisher was going to do and it showed on the field. There were plenty of breaks here or there that make the difference. For LSU, on the road in the hardest game of the season, they couldn't make enough of their own. Either way, a hell of a game and I had fun. My top 5 or 7 or so: 1. AU 2. Ohio St 3. USC 4. LSU 5. Florida 6. Texas 7. Michigan 8. Louisville 9. West Virgnia 10. whoever Bama plays next. And I have a pretty good idea LSU could #badword#stomp OSU or USC... Good luck getting through 12 games in a row, the Tigers will be waiting if you slip up. But if you are going to lose, lose 2 damnit, get all the way out of the MNC race. If not, keep winning and go all the way. Got. Damn. I hate y'all. And... Who Dat.
