but we need an answer to the follow question in order to determine whether to issue an invitation.
Please assume the following hypothetical facts. Your team enters a season ranked in the top 10 by all preseason polls. It returns its starting QB, a future NFL first-rounder, 2 RBs who have rushed for 1000 yards in a season (also future NFL first- rounders) and a defense that contains future NFL starters at DT, LB, and CB. Despite this promise, the team struggles due to inconsistent play, poorly defined coaching roles, poorly devised coaching schemes, and a tough schedule (the co-national champions each appear on the slate). As the season limps toward 5 losses, do you
a) reaffirm your pride in your alma mater despite the disappointing season and pledge your unyielding loyalty?
b) use whatever influence you have to get the coach fired and replaced by a former assistant who is now a "mid-major" head coach?
c) declare by means of the world wide web that you will never attend another game played by your alma mater?
Thanks.
