Note: He often was "a bit of a drunk" on his Sunday afternoon TV replay show too...once drunk enough to bring a stuffed animal (Tiger) to his show after beating his in-state rival again the previous day...and continuosly backhanding the Tiger and knocking him off the TV set desk every time a spuater made a good play. By the end of the show he was mumbling and stamering and apologizing for the "condition" he was in...wanted evryone to believe he had been to the dentist that Sunday morning and was still on pain killer.
He was definitely on pain killer...no doubt about that as Gene Stallings would say...
And, the stuffed Tiger didn't make it...he was dead on arrival at the ER later that evening.
CLASS...and stuff...he was also of the "Snopesian stripe".
