When you thought it was funny and an easy shot at GWB you said you claim another nationality to keep from talking about Bush. When you were called on it early and often, it went from "most" times to only "when I'm in danger". That's back stroking.
I've been all over the world through five presidents, lived six years in Asia and Europe, and have ducked into stores in Seoul Korea to get away from some pretty raucous anti-American crowds, but I have never claimed to be anything other than an American. I did tell my wife that if she was ever in danger she should consider doing that .
