scholastic. It has arrived at the point where evil is protected and good is hindered.
Too many fine points that do not deal w/ innocence or guilt but whether the police/army jumped through all of the proper hoops in the proper order saying the proper incantations.
We can be a nation of laws and protect the accused w/o painting ourselves into such a corner where the rights of the people are looked out for also.
We got into this mess by the false promise that justice could be perfectly administered as soon as we gave lawyers enough power and created enough rules so that human judgment was eliminated from the equation.
Jury members have to be dull, stupid human donkeys or lying weasels.
You cannot use evidence you discover the wrong way.
You can't suspect a person because he fits the criminal profile -- mid eastern male between ages of 15 and 30,
