and a freakin' idiot on this one. He has NEVER used a veto, not once, not even for 14 F'in trillion dollar highway bills so jammed with pork that it's squealin' like one of Burt Reynolds' buddies in Deliverance.
But he will break out the veto pen for the first time in 6 years to veto Congress actually getting involved in national security. If these UAE guys are our friends, where were they mass protests on the streets of Dubai following 9/11? Other than shoveling a few million in Tiger Woods pockets every year, what do they do for the U.S. Do we have air bases there to launch attacks on Iran from?
Bush is swimming upstream on this. He is woefully ignorant of the pulse of America...again. Even more out of touch than his daddy. Sad, Sad, Sad. Not sure that the Yankee elitist snob pompous ass John Kerry would be worse. Sure couldn't spend more.
As far as I can tell, the only person on his side is the washed up has been Jimmy Carter, and when Carter agrees with you on anything its time to switch sides QUICK.
