I can see how the siren song of some immediate gratification can cause the young and less well grounded Auburn fan to fall for the attractive delusion like the one in view here. A bama W would open the door to AU getting to the SECC in Atlanta.
The novice AU fan can succomb to the momentary euphoria and falsely conclude that this is the only relevant fact.
The bama menace is a hydra like contagion -- well described by Wayne in a post made famous now as a signature -- which must be dealt as deadly and violent a blow as possible as often as possible.
