Blowing out a ranked team 51-7 (Va Tech) is less impressive than sqeaking by a ranked team a few weeks ago (Texas).
Beating MSU by 13 won't drop you in the polls (UGA), but beating them by 28 will drop you 4 spots (AU).
Losing to South Florida by 31 (Louisville) is better than losing to Ga Tech by 9 (AU).
Beating Arkansas, So. Miss, MTSU, and South Carolina (not a single vote for any of them) makes you (bammer) better than Wisconsin (undefeated, beat #13 Michigan) and Minnesota (undefeated, beat #11 Purdue) and UCLA (undefeated, beat #23 Oklahoma).
Michigan, with 2 losses, is still better than the following undefeated teams from Major conferences: West Virginia, Penn State, and Vanderbilt. Good thing the games were actually played. Would be nice if they mattered.
