(EDITED BY AUTHOR: 7/29/2005 - 9:49 p.m.) but I did read all your posts and I must say I agree with you 118.37%. Auburn football sucks in general and Tuberville sucks in particular. I am no longer happy that we won the conference for the first time since before Bill Curry left Bama and certainly feel that we should take no pride in our perfect season. I also am petitioning Jay Jacobs, Bobby Lowder, Governor Riley and Fred Phelps to have the word orange removed from the lyrics of War Eagle, or at the very least have the line changed to read "Fight on you Blue and Orange". It will no longer rhyme, but rhyming is an over rated innovation introduced by that way cool hip beat poet Geofffrey Chaucer, so it won't be missed. Not by true Auburn fans anyway.
But I still have my problems and shortcomings. Your guidance and wisdom is needed: Auburn's Swim Team. I realize that there is something rotten and unseemly about it all and I know I should not be happy that our Men recently won three straight National Titles, and five over all since 1997, while our Women's team rejoices in its three National Titles. But happy I remain.
SO ... can you help me out? Tell my why my countenance should turn grave and I should don sack clothes and ashes when thinking of Auburn Aquatics.
