If Rouzie is to be believed, he cut the assistant coaches off from Logan. This is a brilliant move from a management of information perspective. If the assistant coaches obey (and it was not a career enhancing move to cross Bryant), then the Bear and Logan only have to sync up their own stories in the event of trouble. If they don't, then the Bear can say a rogue assistant got hooked up with a booster contrary to my wishes. Frankly, Richard Nixon could not have done better in the "plausible deniability" realm.
One of my friends played for the Bear toward the end of Bryant's career. He says Logan was frequently in the locker room after games. Now, he could be lying, but you will have to accuse him, as he could easily kick your, Eminem's, and my ass.
Logan is a "Bear's Boy," like it or not.
