GOP has put an African American on the supreme court, two African Americans in the chair of Sec of State, a Hispanic as Atty General, and has a track record of diversity in the truly high offices that is well out in front of the Democratic party.
The Dems have the style and the show but no real substance. They get Rev Al and Rev Jesse to pander to the people who stil get charged by the 70s rhetoric but more and more people notice the embarassment that it all has become. Br. Clinton, for all of the symbolism had a cabinet made up of the same white liberals who occupy the role of caretaker/savior for the African Americans.
I do not know if the GOP will nominate Condi but I imagine they are closer to that than the Dems are to nominating Carol Moseley Braun or Cynthia Mckinney.
