Spinach con Queso Dip recipe.
Ingredients:
1 package of chopped frozen spinach (thawed)
1 loaf of Velveeta Cheese
1 Cup of flour
1 stick of butter
1/2 small white onion (to taste)
2 cans of Chicken Broth (original recipe called for 1 can, but that was too thick for me)
Tabasco sauce (optional)
Sour cream (optional)
Nacho chips (not optional)
Sauté onion in butter.
Add flour gradually to form a ball.
Add chicken broth. Stir until flour is dissolved.
Add cut pieces of cheese stirring constantly. THIS IS NASTY IF IT BURNS ON THE BOTTOM.
Add spinach.
Add Tabasco sauce to taste.
Serve with nacho chips and a dollop of sour cream on top if you wish.
