Big 12 South Bowl Update. Through 4 and 1/2 games the vaunted 5 have a 2-2 record with a third loss that can be booked under generally accepted accounting principles. These juggernauts have surrendered just under 40 points per game at the current clip (177 total points allowed through halftime of the Orange Bowl). What does this prove? It proves that Tennessee, which only managed 38 against Texas A&M, is indeed below average. Thus, we have again proven that the SEC is down this year.
