Nobody is arguing "The BCS isn't putting 1 vs. 2." The complaint is WHO is number one and number two
To be fair...even IF we were #2...it would STILL BE DEAD WRONG for an undefeated USC or OK team to be left out. Any team that goes undefeated in a major conference has EARNED the right to play for the MNC. Although I am infuriated by the incredibly phony arguments being made to rationalize USC-OK, I refuse to discount the achievements of either team. They both did what we did, they beat every team they played, and we demean ourselves by bashing OK and USC...we look like whiners.
The system FAILED last year by excluding USC, yet the powers-that-be DID NOT bother to address a scenario in which there are more than 2 undefeated teams, and now the system has FAILED again.
