The problem with the BCS is that it is all a glamour show for 1 and 2 and not about arriving at a National Champ. When we are butting up against an OU and USC that have won multiple MNC's in the past, we lose. The whole system is a crock of chit...the Big 12 blows and they make some big deal about OU winning "tough" road games vs A&M and OSU (who hung a combined 70 pts on OU), who are 7 loss teams in the SEC, the overblow the Texas win as well. The other UT should have lost to Kansas save for a horrible offensive pass interference call against KU after a pass completion that would have given KU a 1st down and ended the game with a KU victory. Arky beat UT except for a late fumble with Arky in easy FG range to win the game and yet somehow Texas is ranked way up there...Georgia would kick Texas' ass. Stoops leaves his starters in the entire game vs just about everyone and run up the score and it hacks me off that voters buy that crap.
UCLA plays USC to the wire and no one would think that UCLA is a good ballclub, but it doens't matter? But when we win a close one vs uat and their #2 ranked defense in the rain in T'loosa that matters? It is all a crock and I hope the SEC as a whole says so...this needs to change. For an undefeated SEC champ to not have a shot at the NC game is total BS and reduces it back to a MNC. You cannot tell me we are not one of the top 2. Thank Gawd there is at least Trev Alberts that can stick with his guns and see the big picture, the rest of the ESPN people are idiots...you make judgements like this on the entire season, not one game and for people to flip flop on these games today is a joke....we played #15 and a team we beat earlier and everyone knows how hard it is to beat a good team twice (but we win by 10), OU plays a bad 7-4 (because most of their wins were in the god awful Big 12 North), USC plays a defensively horrible UCLA and barely wins...and everyone else has an excuse but not us...total BS.
I am thrilled with the SEC title, but the rest is total crap.
