Greetings Tiger fans. Now that most of the crying and gnashing of teeth has settled down over yesterday, please let me say something. I just don't get it. I know there has been alot of discussion on this, but now that the Iron Bowl is history, I have to say that the national media is full of bafoons. How a team like AU can not play its best game, weather the storm, and still beat the home team in the most unpredictable, fiercist rivalry in football (at any level I might add) and LOSE votes in the writers poll is beyond me. The national media on the west coast and midwest, I can see them with a slight bias, but what is the rest of the world thinking? Please, I am not trying to pander to you Auburn fans here, I am just apalled that the media simply looks at a scoreboard and votes based on that. AU is the best in the land, and let me say this. I am a huge Alabama fan, but I am not Bammer. I have been firmly on the Auburn wagon all year except for yesterday, and I am now back on it. They deserve a shot at the title. Any Bama or SEC fan that can't see that is stupid. Take it all the way guys. Beat the Hillbillies to a pulp. Borges/Tuberville, please don't call off the dogs like you did in Knoxville. I also firmly believe that ND can beat USC straight up (remember Michigan and Tennessee?) and Stoops' arrogant self is setting himself up for his annual collapse in the Big 12 game. One or the other will happen, although I really don't know why we even have to worry about it. Thanks alot to the national media. Idiots.
