which is derived entirely of nerds, geeks, and brains (think the famous line in Ferris Bueller), I can say uneqivocally that short black socks are not a plot of the devil, but a white man's device. They were originally devised for the fashion challenged to wear with sandals and bermuda shorts so that one could be identified as a geek without having to wear the pocket protector and belt holster slide rule. They have now become a largely successful device to infiltrate black culture and keep the black man down!
