If W allows the most liberal presidential candidate in a long time, a man with no personality, a gold digger in the extreme, with a checkered past of telling assorted lies about his military bravado (or war crimes, as the case may be)......that's it for the Bush clan. It's our fault to start with for getting these damn Yale educated, Maine living, country club republicans instead of getting real men of the people. You are making the same mistake with Kerry, so even if he wins, I wouldn't be confident of 8 years.
My biggest complaint with W is that compassionate conservatism seems to be code for fiscal irresponsibility of trying to buy votes from people that the Dems have bought and paid for a long time ago. That's the compassion part. The conservative part seems to be a social conservatism that for the most part I agree with, but it is tinged with arrogance.
Unfortunately, a Kerry presidency will be an unmitigated disaster in the war on terror. They won't quit coming just because the French like us. Mark it down.
