Any time any kid with any talent chooses MSU over Bama, AU, Ole Miss, LSU, Tennessee, or any other school that recruits from our talent pool, it's because one of our incredibly wealthy county agent alums digs deep into his pocket and pulls out a plum.
Amazing how much money those county agents can amass in the poorest state in the US.
Having been in the presence of Bama and UT alums when they actually reached into their pockets and handed bills to student athletes, I'm so yawning over that cliche about MSU.
Just because Jackie Sherrill [Bama grad, Bear's boy] coached at MSU doesn't mean he brought the Bear Bryant philosophy of semi-pro financing of student athletes to MSU.
Where's the beef?
