I'm frightened for America. This article and the Mansoor Ijaz article below are indicative of a lack of seriousness about fighting the terrorist threat that exists to today as evidenced by tactics in Fallujah.
People, there's not going to be a VE or VJ day in this war. There's not going to be any armistice signed on the deck of an American aircraft carrier. There will be no negotiated peace. Just look at what Arafat did. He turned down an agreement to basically give him what he said he wanted, because peace is not what they want. They want you dead, they want your family dead, they want your pets dead, they want your way of life dead and they are willing to die in waves to attempt to get their way.
Look at the taking of civilian hostages and the barbaric murders and mutilations. How do you negotiate with that? You can't. It's not possible, you don't win "the hearts and minds" of such people. They have to be killed in order for us to win and we better get on with it.
