"Home Depot vs. Lowes"

OK, I had to do it. The wife and I decided to by a new range and went shopping around. We found the one we liked and priced it at Home Depot, Sears, Best Buy and Lowes. Sears and Depot had the lowest prices but Lowes and Best Buy had the "we match and then discount 10% of the price" program. So it came down to deciding to buy it at Lowes or Home Depot because our savings were $75 and sometimes money comes before principal. Best Buy didn't have it in stock so we bought it at Lowes and are having it delivered tomorrow.
But my opinion of Lowes hasn't changed, especially as I was walking through the store and saw where they were selling cases of bottled water. And I'm not talking about those 5 gallon jugs of water, I'm talking the little bottles you buy at a grocery store. Hardware stores should sell hardware, not bottled water.
