"Wayne on Gay "Marriage""

as most of you know I usually run kicking and screaming to thwart the religious right. This time I must agree with them. To have the state tell me that two men being "married" is the same as me and my wife belittles and trivalizes marriage. Now I am sure TRO and others can address the Constitutional issues and the legalities of the state being able to define marriage in its best interest (in other words it is far from unC to ban the gay version). The thing about the Gay argument that just does not fly with me. That it is their civil right to have marriage equal to that of heterosexuals and that not providing that is the same as racial discrimination. This is the biggest bunch of crap I have ever heard. There is a basic underlying biological fact that makes Gay "Marriage" untenable. It is called procreation. To label what two gay people might have as marriage would be for the state to label rolling in a wheel chair "walking". It is absurd. If they label it as equal, then I guess adoption agencies will not be able to use that as a measure for adoption? Then they are saying a gay couple is just as good as a hetero couple. I say hogwash! We are toying with fundamental things here.
