You know, if you have to say a tearful goodbye to an online message board, it is definetely time to take "a step back". Maybe you should go outside.
Yours wasn't the first "goodbye, dear board" that I have witnessed. Obviously, you spend too much time thinking about this board, and assume that the people here spend any time thinking about you. Maybe you're a little too attached to the internet?Fire up the old voice box and go make some friends. Shoot some smack in to your veins, do whatever you gotta do. But Jesus, man, if you want any parting advise from me, think about all the time and effort you spent here talking to a bunch of faceless pennames. Think about all the conversation, discussion, and attention-whoring you did. Think about the hours spent on this board with these people, and then realize that if you left today within a day or so no one will give a #badword# that you were ever here. THEN think about what would have happened if you took that time and used it to socialize, talk to women, or even get some goddamned work done. Hours upon countless hours of your life spent pandering to a bunch of careless, bored geeks, and none of them really care if you come or go. (live or die?) You could percievably have the same life in prison. The American Dream, indeed.
Turn off your box, man. If it has come to some neandering, heartfelt goodbye to the likes of the people here, you have truly hit bottom.
